Under the Patronage of H. E. Shaikh Mohammed Bin Salman Al Khalifa and the BMAA, Grand Master Javed Khan was invited to the Kingdom of Bahrain to demonstrate his art of “Khan Do Kwan” to the Bahrain Martial Arts Association (the Government body for martial arts in Bahrain). The BMAA  recognized “Khan Do Kwan” as the official martial art of Bahrain. 

The Demonstration was done on Thursday the 23rd of February 2006 at the Martial Arts Hall at the Marina Club.

The Guests of honor at this event was the Chairman of BMAA, H. E. Shaikh Mohammed Bin Salman Al Khalifa and also present at this event were other officials of the BMAA, Mr. Khalid Al-Hasan and Mr. Ahmed Al-Ali. Captain Khalid Al-Khayyat of the Public Security (Police Force) took a close look at the “Martial Art of the Modern Times” and appreciated its unique techniques.

Grand Master Javed Khan also conducted a Level ‘I’ LEAD™ LAW ENFORCEMENT ACTION DEFENSE ™, (a program for police and law enforcement officials) seminar for the Public Security special task force officers on Friday, 24th February 2006. This program is a derivative of Khan Do Kwan.

The “Khan Do Kwan” Demo marked its launch in the Middle East. It was widely covered by news papers, magazines and TV channels of the Middle East.
